4th EuCornea Congress, Amsterdam 2013 - Abstract Submission!

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Board and Officers of EuCornea, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 4th EuCornea Congress taking place this year in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

This will be a two-day congress running from 08.00 on Friday 4th October until 18.00 on Saturday 5th. The venue for the Congress is the Amsterdam Rai, where the XXXI Congress of the ESCRS will also take place. In light of this collaboration please note that EuCornea delegates can enjoy a 15% discount on the registration fees of the ESCRS Congress.

The 4th EuCornea Congress promises to deliver an excellent programme which includes world leaders in the field of cornea and ocular surface disease. This year’s programme will include 12 invited symposia, six courses and 14 Free Paper Sessions. We are honoured to announce that Gabriel van Rij MD, PhD, Professor of Ophthalmology, Erasmus University, Rotterdam and President of EUPO will present the EuCornea Medal Lecture 2013. This lecture, entitled ‘The Cornea: How many endothelial cells are necessary?’, will take place during the Opening Ceremony from 17.00 – 18.00 on the opening day of the meeting.
